Process Overview

Initial Estimate &

Material Choice

We start with a site visit to review your bathroom’s current layout, discuss your goals, and take measurements. From there, we guide you through material choices that fit your budget while delivering the look and function you want. Once materials and layout are decided, a clear estimate is provided so there are no surprises.

What’s included at this stage.

  • On-site measurements and consultation
  • Review of layout options and space planning
  • Material options explained (tile, flooring, vanities, fixtures)
  • Honest pricing that balances cost with long-term value
  • Written estimate with clear scope of work

Materials &

Design Considerations

Bathrooms involve more moving parts than most rooms in the house. We help you navigate the details so everything comes together cleanly and functions the way it should.

Things we help you decide on:

  • Tile Choices – walls, shower surrounds, and flooring

  • Fixtures – shower systems, faucets, and toilets

  • Vanities & Countertops – storage and stone options

  • Lighting – overhead, sconces, or integrated lighting

  • Plumbing & Electrical – updated as needed for code compliance

  • Glasswork – shower doors and enclosures

  • Heated Flooring – optional for added comfort

  • Layout Adjustments – tub to shower conversions, curb-less entries, or full redesigns

Construction Process

Once the design and materials are finalized, we move into construction. If a pre-existing structure is on site, the process begins with demolition and safe disposal. From there, framing is completed to meet current code, followed by inspections and finishing details.

Step-by-Step Process:

  • Demolition of old structure (if applicable)

  • Site prep and layout

  • Framing with proper footings and fasteners

  • Inspections as required by local code

  • Installation of decking, railing, and skirting

  • Final walkthrough and cleanup

From Demo to Finish

Once the design and selections are complete, we move into construction. Bathrooms require careful sequencing — demolition, plumbing and electrical rough-ins, waterproofing, and substrate prep all happen before tile and finishes go in.

What to expect during the build:

  • Demo and Disposal – Removal of existing fixtures, tile, and drywall down to solid framing.

  • Plumbing & Electrical – Rough-ins are updated or brought to code before walls are closed.

  • Subfloor Reinforcement – Checked for deflection and leveled where needed to support tile and prevent cracking.

  • Waterproofing – Cement board or foam board is installed on shower walls, seams are sealed with mesh tape, and a waterproof membrane (like Schluter Kerdi or liquid-applied systems) is applied to all wet areas. Corners, niches, and transitions are fully sealed to stop leaks before they start. Shower pans are sloped and waterproofed before tile is set.

  • Tile Installation – Tile is laid using proper thinset and leveling systems, with special care on slope in showers for drainage.

  • Fixture & Vanity Install – Vanities, toilets, and plumbing fixtures are set once tile work is complete.

  • Final Finish – Paint, trim, and touch-ups bring the room together.

  • Walkthrough – We review the project with you to make sure every detail is complete.

Choosing the Correct Contractor for You

A bathroom remodel combines nearly every interior skill — plumbing, electrical, flooring, tile, painting, and finish work — which is why quality and coordination matter as much as price. We balance cost with workmanship so you get a bathroom built to last, without cutting corners on the details that matter most. Choosing the right contractor means your project is done once, done right, and built with an understanding of how all the parts work together. If you’d like to contact us about having a bathroom done or would like to see pricing, there are options to the right.
